It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only 4 weeks away and November is just around the corner! With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to share some of my Antique Victorian Era Postcards with you for you to print and make Thanksgiving craft projects with. These postcards can be printed, cut out and framed, or I personally like to simply display them on old metal flower frogs and set them around the house, these are great to set on the table or buffet around the centerpiece for decoration, they would even make unique place cards for guests at each place setting. A plus is that your guests can take them home with them to remember this special day. You could edit the images to add your guests names and the date or simply hand write their names for an extra special touch to your holiday table.
Enjoy! I'll be adding more postcards every week until Thanksgiving so be sure to visit again.
Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Is Officially In The Air...
I'm celebrating fall today... with some warmer colors inside for the season. I'm keeping things a little bit more simple this year with just a few touches of fall here and there around the house ...I've put out my tea stained floral throw pillows on the sofa (I decided to keep my white slipcovers on my brown sofa this time), my warm plaid blankets so I can cozy up when it's cool...
I've added a burlap table runner to my coffee table, and a large ornate silver tray with a fall flower arrangement placed in an old crackled and crazed brown transferware sugar dish. No lid, no problem, I love using old creamers and sugar dishes for vases, there's just something about them, it seems I can never resist picking up another one for my growing collection. My silver tray is something I use regularly, it changes with the different seasons of the year around here...so you'll probably be seeing it again...
Some little fabric pumpkins... I made these from sample left over pieces of Waverly fabric that I found ...and it wouldn't be autumn without pumpkin spice scented candles
The old-fashioned country scene on this Autumn "Currier & Ives" plate is one of my favorites, it has a way of taking you back in time doesn't it?
I just added a couple of pumpkins to my vintage china bowl that I already had filled with seashells...
These simple little touches seemed to be enough to warm things up for fall, and help me bring in the new season. I can't believe that it's already Oct. 1, 2014, can you?
Happy Fall!
