It's Valentine's Day...

The day dedicated to Love and all things lovely and romantic...

It just wouldn't be Valentine's Day without a little bit of lace, hearts and roses....so I've added a few touches around the house this week ..I'm just keeping it simple, working with things I've made from the previous years....

My heart banner is made from lace heart paper, aqua and pink scrapbook paper, rosette appliques hung on a jute string accented with aqua an pink lace....

In case you may be wondering, this is a French Provincial dresser turned tv stand in my living area, it comes in handy for storage of vintage linens, tablecloths and other little things, so it serves a good purpose and since I couldn't find a tv stand that I really loved, this is working out great.
Just tucking in a ribbon embroidered heart into an old needlepoint purse that I recently found while antiquing...
I made the ribbon embroidered heart from a kit given to me by a dear friend many years ago....

A simple Cherub Valentine greeting hanging postcard.... scanned, printed, and made from one of my Victorian early 1900's Era postcards....
I've included the scanned image below to share with you, in case you'd like to make one these Valentine hangers of your own...

Wishing You a Very Happy Valentine's Day filled with Love and all things sweet!
Thanks for visiting today!
