Vintage Miniature Oil Paintings....

I love anything miniature....and these little vintage oil paintings are so cute and would be cute displayed in a vignette with other vintage items, or showcased on a shelf on an easel... or just set with some other mini artwork in a collection..... so I was thrilled to find these!

 This one features a nature scene with lots of green trees, water and a mountain in the background....

 This one features a rippling of water with an Italian Villa at the waters edge....

And here's another Villa beside the sea with a purple sunset......

Old Needlepoint Pretty Embroidery and More....

Welcome to another post featuring my vintage finds......

  I have always been drawn to handmade needlepoint and embroidery.....and I thought this rose one is beautiful....

  and this Pair of Old Linen Embroidered Chair Arm Covers....

  The Courting Couple is something I always gravitate toward when I'm junkin' too....

  and I thought this Antique Shabby Oval Silver Plated Monogrammed Clothes Brush, (Butler's Brush), was unique...this would be great turned bristle side up, to display antique postcards on. That's what I will be using it for!

  A vintage linen embroidered hoop art with grey taupe butterfly design...

Old Black needlepoint pot holder hot pad, done in a leaf design...and another pair of vintage linen flower embroidered chair arm covers with black design details....

Valentine's Day Inspiration...

From my old photo files....I wanted to share a few pictures of my little garden gate that I filled with Antique Victorian Valentine's Day Postcards and other rosy, forget-me-not, sweetheart decorations....I love old postcards.... and the seasonal ones are especially pretty to decorate with for the different times of the year...

Shabby Old Metal Green Hand Painted Tole Tray....

Happy Weekend!  Today, I wanted to show you this pretty green handpainted tole tray I found....when I come across these for the right price, I have to bring them home with me....to add to my collection.....I've got a couple in black, one in cream, a red one and now a green one.....they really do add just the right touch of cottage vintage charm to any room!
